…. Was the day we opened our doors as Sparkle ✨

I had known since I was a young girl that I wanted to have my own dance school. 13 years ago after having the best time working in Fitness for touring the UK with and enjoying trips in Europe for I finally took the leap and went it alone.

The last picture here is when I was at my last fitness convention that I attended working for a corporate company. It was at this event that I had made the decision to go it alone.

It was such a huge step, having always worked with amazing mentors, corporate companies and a huge support network it felt like I was about to tread a very different path.

That path has been long and winding and had its steep hills but it is one I’m so pleased that I stepped on without ever looking back.

Four of those original pupils that stepped into class that day 13 years ago are still with us today, one has just qualified as a teacher herself and the other three are on their way to qualifying too.

If this journey has taught me anything it has to be that you can make your dreams come true, with lots of hard work, determination, a big heart and an open mind.

Through the years we’ve achieved so much as a school. What makes me feel the most proud is to see each and every child come along and be able to fully be themselves. Seeing every one of you shine is what makes my job the best in the world ✨
