First auditions of the season announced!

In two weeks’ time we’re hosting auditions for BLEAK EXPECTATIONS by Mark Evans, an absurd period comedy inspired by the works of Charles Dickens 🎩

We’re delighted to announce the first instalment of our 2026/27 season: Voices Ancient and Modern!

Across two nights at the end of September actors will take part in a medley of ‘Monologues of Now and Then’ - bringing to life new texts (with written permission from their authors) and works in the public domain.

Those interested are invited to submit an application as soon as possible via the online form, simply noting the monologue, permissions and availability. Link to the submission form: https://shorturl.at/VN9hq

Once on board, actors will work with a CTW director for at least two rehearsals, plus a tech run, dress rehearsal and the performance in late September. The Old Court Theatre will be available for actors to use on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings.

Don’t hesitate! Take this brilliant opportunity to work with a director one-on-one to bring a text to life in front of an audience at the Old Court Theatre 🎙️
