Are you Essex Pride ready?!

It all kicks off at Marconi Plaza, right next to Chelmsford Theatre. Expect expert march leading from RuPaul’s Drag Race star and LGBTQI+ anthems from the No Limit Street Band plus all the party vibes needed for a superb Essex Pride March 2026!

Details:

🌈The march is completely free, open to everyone, and requires no registration.

💁Gather from 10am with Pride anthems soundtrack on Marconi Plaza

💋Chelmsford Theatre and café will be open for facilities, coffees etc and you can exchange your festival ticket for a wristband or purchase tickets from the Theatre box office prior to the march heading off

🥁🎷🎺From 1030am live music performance from No Limits Street Band

🙏From 11am inspirational speeches!

👠From 1115am the march assembles

💁From 1120am Essex Pride March 2026 heads off down Duke Street on to the Hight Street and then toward Central Park for the festival site

😍From 12pm the Essex Pride Festival is open!

Just over one week to go, come and support the Pride Party March, Chelmsford's biggest celebration of diversity and equality, that's completely free to take part

It's always been important to show our support for equality and diversity in our community. That's why we've joined forces with Essex Pride to bring Chelmsford an unforgettable street party this June with a new route starting from Marconi Plaza, next to Chelmsford Theatre.

The newly enhanced march is completely free, open to everyone, and requires no registration. This year it’s led by Chelmsford’s own RuPaul’s Drag Race star , joined by the joyful sounds of No Limit Street Band, plus Pride street performers.

If marching isn’t your vibe this year, you can still soak up the energy from anywhere along the route as the celebration passes by.
