🌟Play for All - Immunocompromised Sessions! 🌟

Here at Ocean Adventurers, we are passionate about making play accessible to all children, including those with compromised immune systems. In 2019, we invested in cutting-edge fogging technology to ensure a safe and fun environment for everyone.

We have previously partnered with local children's hospitals and specialist children's oncology centres to offer exclusive, private "Immunocompromised Sessions".

These sessions allow for children who wouldn’t typically be able to access soft play centres due to the increased risk, to enjoy our centre at no cost to them at all.

Here's what you need to know:
🕘 Held the morning after our thorough fogging process
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Limited to 1-2 families per session (depending on health needs)
💌 Please email us if your child could benefit from this unique opportunity. Available by request only.

Please get in touch with us at [email protected] to book in if this could be useful for you and your family.

** More info: **
Our fogging technology, introduced in 2019, has set new standards in cleanliness and safety. It allows us to fog our whole centre automatically without any human intervention. Using eco-friendly stabilised hydrogen peroxide, it eliminates bacteria and viruses effectively. Within a few hours dries into pure water and oxygen leaving behind a silver barrier, traditionally used to prevent bacteria and viruses, and has been used for centuries in medicine for its anti-microbial properties.

Please share this post with families who might benefit from these sessions. We're excited to welcome more children to be able to enjoy play and create wonderful memories. 💫

We’ve had a few parents recently asking us about glycerol in our slushies, so we thought we’d pop up a little reminder!

Our slushies are 100% glycerol-free thanks to our amazing drinks provider, Swallo Drinks ❄️

Here’s their full statement:

“Recent reports have raised concerns about the use of glycerol in slushy products, particularly regarding potential health risks to young children. Notably, incidents have included children experiencing severe reactions after consuming slushies containing glycerol, leading to hospitalizations.

At Swallo Drinks, we prioritize the health and safety of our consumers. We are therefore pleased to confirm that our Lush Strawberry and Lush Blueberry slushy products are entirely glycerol-free. This formulation ensures that our beverages do not contain glycerol, thereby eliminating any associated risks highlighted in recent studies and reported in media.

We remain committed to transparency and consumer safety, adhering to all relevant food safety guidelines. Our decision to exclude glycerol from our products aligns with our dedication to providing enjoyable and safe beverage options for all ages.”

So rest assured, our slushies are made to be fruity, fun, and most importantly, glycerol-free! 💙

“I’m bored.”

If you’re travelling with children this summer, you’ve probably heard those two words already… maybe before you’d even left the driveway. 😂

So we thought we’d do something about it.

🎉 We’ve created a FREE A3 Unplug & Play Adventures sheet with 23 screen-free games and challenges to keep children entertained during:

🚗 Car journeys
✈️ Airport delays
🍕 Restaurant waits
🚂 Train trips
🛒 Supermarket shopping
🏡 Rainy afternoons at home

No batteries.
No WiFi.
No charging.
Just simple games that might buy you another 10 minutes of peace. 😉

Just simple games that might buy you another 10 minutes before someone asks for a screen. 😉

You can pick up a FREE A3 copy from the entrance at Ocean Adventurers throughout the summer holidays. No purchase necessary. Just pop in and help yourself.

You can also download a free copy here: https://eu1.hubs.ly/H0xrj4Q0

Watch this space as we'll also be running competitions to win annual passes over the summer, so tell us your family's favourite travel games. We might just steal a few ideas ourselves.

And if you're planning a visit, we're currently offering 20% off admission as part of the Government VAT savings campaign.
