12 weeks. Phase 1 done.

James was already training consistently when he came to me.

The problem wasn’t effort. It was direction.

Random circuits and conditioning.
Very little progressive overload.
Inconsistent nutrition.

Low carbs and not enough structure to properly change his physique.

So we simplified it. 3 structured sessions per week.

Progressive overload with a clear focus on getting stronger.

Carbs brought back in to support the training he was doing, not work against it.

The goal was simple, get leaner, build and retain muscle but create the foundation for the next phases.

Now the goal shifts.

We’re moving into a performance phase as James prepares for a half marathon, before transitioning into a proper muscle building phase and adding size to the frame.

Different goals require different phases.

Have a plan. Execute it. Then progress.
