For one week this October as part of Cheadle Arts Festival, St Giles the Abbot will become the setting for Mary Shelley’s legendary tale of creation and terrifying consequence of playing God. This is the biggest production Lucid Spark has ever staged with a team of fantastic professional creatives and we can’t wait to welcome you in to one of Cheadle’s most extraordinary buildings. ⛪️

We are finally able to reveal our beautiful poster artwork, created for the production by the inimitable and wonderfully talented Saskia. From the very beginning it was important to us that the visual world of the production was shaped by an artist, just as the work on stage is. Saskia has created something entirely original by hand and we are so proud to have her work as the face of Frankenstein. 🌑🥀illustrated

Our Frankenstein company came together for a first readthrough and wow what a room to be in! 👁️ It’s always a privilege to hear a text come to life in a room full of such talented artists and we can’t help but feel we’ve caught lightning in a bottle. 🌩️ We will be sharing venue and ticket information very soon, so stay tuned. 🕯️

We’re so excited to finally begin introducing the incredible company behind Frankenstein. 🥀

Our biggest company to date brings together an outstanding team of professional actors and creatives, alongside some brilliant recent graduates making their Lucid Spark debut. We couldn’t be prouder to have this company bringing Frankenstein to life.

Three weeks in three venues with countless laughs and memories we will treasure for a very long time. 🌞💘

Much Ado About Nothing has been one of the most joyful, ambitious, and magical experiences we have ever created, and none of it would have been possible without you and your support! Thank you for laughing and dancing with us, and believing in what we do. We are endlessly grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey.

What a beautiful afternoon at on Sunday. 🌿✨

We were overwhelmed by all the laughter and incredible feedback from Sunday’s audience. 💋 Thank you to everyone who joined us and to everyone who has supported Much Ado About Nothing along the way. ❤️

Now we’re taking Messina Villa to one final destination! This Saturday, we’ll be bringing Much Ado About Nothing to as the closing production of this year’s Leek Arts Festival, and the final performance of our mini tour. 💘

What a way to close our Hideaway run. 🥹✨

A standing ovation, the loudest laughs, so much love in the woods!! We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful final evening at The Hideaway Theatre. Thank you for every laugh, every cheer, every ticket bought, and every bit of support you’ve given this little immersive company over the last few years. 💋

Messina may be leaving the forest, but we’re not done yet. Next stop is Bolton Gate Arts on 31st May and then Leek Arts Festival on 6th June 🍸

Messina Villa lives on. 💘

Final night at The Hideaway tonight ✨

We honestly don’t have the words for how special this week has been. The love for Much Ado About Nothing has completely overwhelmed us in the best way, and hearing your feedback these past few days has meant more than we can say. 💋

But fear not, fair wanderers, Messina travels onwards next week to 💘
