Since becoming a mum for the first time, my love for art and passion for creating has been found once more and so Little Dotty Cloud was born. I create original artwork and bespoke children's illustrations with key themes being the fun, the bold and the whimsical. Trying out some markers I bought months ago on some doodles in my sketch book. It’s been a long time since picking up some art tools. I’ve recently had a late AUDHD diagnosis and it’s taken a lot out of me..unmasking whilst being a Mum and working has been really hard but it has been also healing being given a reason for how I’ve felt over the years. I’ve still got a long way to go in learning how to live in my in-masked skin but I’m taking it one day at a time and the first step is being patient for myself, that includes having gaps in creativity.

Where have you been? Well it’s been a good while since I’ve been in the zone art wise. I had a little dabble with some ink a couple weeks ago to break the funk. Mostly I’ve been putting my energy into starting a new job, trying to have a chilled but fun half term with the kiddos. The other big thing at the moment is trying to get an neurodiversity assessment. Suffice to say it’s not been an easy start. But I’ve got some ideas on how to move forward and am still going with therapy for the time being.
