We are so excited to be making steps to return to 'in person', class teaching, in the very near future. It has been a long few months and whilst we hope you enjoyed our 12 week FREE on-line timetable of classes up until June (still available on YouTube), and now our tailor-made, LIVE timetable of Active Creative Zoom classes and even our 'socially-distanced in the park' classes...nothing quite makes up for regular face to face, all together classes. We know that, we can't wait......BUT we are going to make sure we keep you as safe as possible. before we come back together properly!
ACTIVE CREATIVE has a genuine commitment to always keeping you safe in class. In addition to our usual hygiene and safety practices, we have implemented and will be adhering to a range of Infection prevention measures for all our face to face classes.
1. All Government, local authority, community venue, school, nursery and care home specific guidance will be adhered to in relation to safe working practice for each class we teach.
2. For all classes: Active Creative class specific information will be sent to all our class participants prior to to your first session, outlining what will be required by way of 'virus spread prevention' for your particular class. Regular communication and updates will be provided from the Active Creative Team member responsible for the classes in your area, as restrictions change or lift
3. Active Creative will always have supplies of hand sanitiser, antibacterial spray, disposable cloths and gloves for the safe sanitation of public areas before and after classes
4. All teaching equipment will be safely handled, un-shared and thoroughly cleaned between classes
5. For all our community classes across all our programmes, (Dinky Dancers, Boogaloo Bogie, Motion Commotion, The Performing Arts Club and Fit & Fantastic): a temperature check will be taken by an AC team member and a self-screening health declaration signed, prior to each class to ensure we do our utmost to keep you, your families and our team safe. Admission to class that week, will not be possible if a high temperature is present or you have been exposed to CV19. All appropriate virus minimising quarantines etc will then be expected to have been adhered to, before returning to class. I hope you understand the importance of this rigour for everyone's health.
