We enable communities across Medway to get creative with new technology. Arts organisation working with communities and new technology across Medway, delivering a flagship digital Festival.

We had such a brilliant time at Love Twydall and Love Strood as part of Medway’s Pride in Place events.

Getting local families hands-on with digital creativity and showing just how much you can make, play and experiment with technology.

And the best part? Hearing what parents had to say. ❤️

🎥 Ahead of Wolfwalkers, we are thrilled to be showing a stop motion animation from Kent artist, Astrid Goldsmith.

Quarantine is a post-Brexit pagan dance fantasy, about a troupe of Morris-dancing badgers on the south coast of England, who are trying to avoid the animal quarantine compound which has been built above their burrow.

Astrid Goldsmith is an award-winning stop motion animator and writer. Based in Folkestone, she set up stop-motion studio (Mock Duck Studios) in 2012 and has made award-winning short films including Squirrel Island and Quarantine.

Her commercial work for brands include Duracell, Nike, Ford Fiesta and a Christmas-special music video for Blossoms.

Astrid won the Observer/Jonathan Cape prize in 2021 for her comic A Funeral in Freiburg, and in 2026 her debut graphic novel The Crystal Vase was published.

Men in Tech is a free weekly drop-in where you can learn new digital skills, build creative projects and meet like-minded people in a relaxed, welcoming space.

No experience is needed, and all equipment is provided.

The workshops are open to men, including trans men, aged 18+. Whether you’re looking to try something new, build confidence, connect with others or simply get out of the house for a couple of hours, you’re welcome.

Join us for a free 3D printing workshop in Medway as part of Medway Pride Fringe 2026. Learn how to design your own Pride-inspired creation on an iPad before bringing it to life with a 3D printer.

👀 A sneak peek at what we’ve been creating in Men in Tech…

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been exploring TouchDesigner, building interactive systems that break videos apart, reconstruct them into stunning particle effects, and bring them to life using audio and live camera inputs.

It’s been incredible to see ideas turn into immersive digital experiences, with everyone developing new creative and technical skills along the way.

We’ve got just one week left before we wrap up for the summer, with sessions returning on 7th September.

🎨 Calling all Medway families!

Looking for a creative activity this summer? Join us for our Digital Animation Workshop and let your child’s imagination come to life.

Designed for 11–14 year olds, this hands-on session introduces young creators to the world of 2D digital animation using iPads. They’ll learn how to animate beautiful natural scenes, from flowers blooming to trees swaying in the wind, while exploring storytelling through digital art.

Led by our experienced creative facilitators, it’s a fun opportunity to build new digital skills, get creative and create something they’ll be proud of.

✨ Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.

After the workshop, you’ll have the option to receive your child’s finished animation to keep. Simply complete a short registration form on arrival, or register in advance using the link in our bio.

We can’t wait to see what your young animator creates!
