I was inspired to pop some leaves into glycerin by Helen Heasman a while ago now.

I kinda forgot about them! But they have turned out beautifully delicate and soft to touch.

It immediately took me back to moment in time many years ago when I was in junior school. My teacher handed out a box of leaves she had preserved in wax or something like that. They were beautiful and i can remember enjoying that lesson so much! We all had different leaves from different trees.

If only frames werenā€™t so expensive! If they were larger I could fit more inā€¦

My imagination is bigger than the space I have before me. Itā€™s now time to pick out the treasures I will use to create the people in this happy sceneā€¦
