I’ve been sorting through all of my pressed flowers and leaves to create a commissioned scene this morning.

One of my favourite parts of the process.

If only frames weren’t so expensive! If they were larger I could fit more in…

My imagination is bigger than the space I have before me. It’s now time to pick out the treasures I will use to create the people in this happy scene…

It’s a very dull day here at Brampton Tales HQ so I thought I’d post a few desk shots of my latest piece in progress.

I love that I’d put the two catkins to one side because they were bent and not the usual catkin shape. Together they came to life as the perfect pair of gardening boots for the tale of getting lost in your garden!

To be displayed at the Spring Open in February along side the lovely snowdrop walk

Was lovely to see my Brampton Tales featured by In her In Her Studio Magazine ❤️ Thank you so much 🙌

My studio is upstairs in my home, overlooking my slightly wild and free garden. It is a very special place. Each corner of the room is filled with treasured items I’ve collected over the years. It is a giant herbarium containing a collection of moss, twigs, lichen, leaves, pinecones, poppy heads, and more. When I walk into the room, I feel inspired to create something new. The shelves are loaded with jars full of acorns, conkers, many wonderful seed heads, sticks with buds, and dried grasses and stems. — Joanna Turner-Fuller

A lovely gift dropped through the letterbox yesterday! The latest edition of

I was over the moon when Amber Demien approached me and asked if I’d like to write an article for the magazine. One of my favourite magazines full of inspiration!

I put together a story about my studio from the wording on my website and Amber picked the photographs she wanted to use.

Lovely to see next door to me in the magazine! I’ve been following Helen’s journey for many years.

Thank you so much for this opportunity. This magazine is now one of the many treasures in my cozy studio and will be treasured forever ❤️

The blooms in my garden have faded and last night I trimmed off my faded lavender and other plants that looked a bit sad.

But this scabiosa just keeps on giving. I’ve just cut this one to preserve and use in a Brampton Tale one day.

Hope your summer is blooming marvellous 🌼🌷🌸🌻

Back in Spring I was asked to make a personalised card for a special arrival.

Welcome to the world 🤍

I carefully selected small flowers, leaves and delicate petals from my collection of pressed flowers to create the letter G.

A beautiful keepsake 🤍
