Less than a week to go!! Tickets still available for Friday and Saturday evenings.
Where: St Leonards Church, Catworth When: Friday 24th and Saturday 25th November at 8pm.
This radio stage play, written by Anthony E Palermo, is a comical Christmas Carol in reverse turning Dickens’ "Carol" on its head, but still affirming the very things that the original does. Set in modern times, this tells the tale of Auntie Scrooge, a kindly, old great-great-great-great-grand-niece of the reformed Ebenezer Scrooge, and a Christmas to remember.
We invite you, the audience, to come along and enjoy this modern day, backwards version of a Christmas Carol, complete with sound effects, cows and a visit from Bob Marley.

Catworth Amateur Theatrical Society – CATS
Christmas Play

CATS will be performing Auntie Scrooge – A BACKWARDS Christmas Carol, at St Leonards Church, Catworth on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th November at 8pm.
This radio stage play, written by Anthony E Palermo, is a comical Christmas Carol in reverse turning Dickens’ "Carol" on its head, but still affirming the very things that the original does. Set in modern times, this tells the tale of Auntie Scrooge, a kindly, old great-great-great-great-grand-niece of the reformed Ebenezer Scrooge. Big hearted Auntie runs an ice cream company in Catworth, full of singing cows and egg nogg, but her greedy niece Fredericka and her nasty VP Bobbie Cratchit, seek to take over her company and do away with her famous egg nog forever.
CATS will be performing Auntie Scrooge in their CATS FM radio studio based in St Leonard’s Church, Catworth. We invite you, the audience, to come along and enjoy this modern day, backwards version of a Christmas Carol, complete with sound effects, cows and a visit from Bob Marley.
