Scottish Country Dancing in Castle Douglas The Castle Douglas branch has been here since 1950. We are lucky to have live musicians.

It is a warm and welcoming branch which lives to encourage others to learn the wonderful skill of country dancing which helps create friendships all around the globe! Committee members:

Can’t believe that the Scottish Country Dancing in Castle Douglas in over for another season. If you fancy joining us next season for fun laughter and learning our dancing doors will be open again after the summer holidays on the 3rd September 2026.

If you would like to join the dancing fun and friendship next season please get in touch.
It would be lovely to welcome new members to come and join us.
Adults return on 4th September 7-30 at Castle Douglas Primary School.

We also have an active Junior Class which is held every Thursday evening at 6-15 at Castle Douglas Primary School.
It resumes on 28th August 2025. If you have children interested in joining that group please contact Val McGoldrick 07763943837.
