‼️ BAT WALK POSTPONED πŸ¦‡πŸ¦‡πŸ¦‡

Unfortunately, we have made the decision to postpone tonight’s bat walk due to the weather conditions.

The combination of rain and light winds means that the conditions are not ideal for bat activity. Bats are less likely to be out feeding in wet weather, and the lack of suitable conditions can make it much more difficult to spot and hear them during the walk πŸ‘€πŸ‘‚

We want to make sure that when we run the bat walk, there is the best possible chance of seeing and detecting bats, so unfortunately tonight’s weather means it is better to cancel rather than go ahead with an event that may be disappointing for everyone.

Those who are registered have been contacted and will receive another email soon with a new date which we hope will suit!

Just look at the difference one week can make! These little seedlings are already coming on brilliantly at Harryville Community Garden, with the Men’s Shed programme led by Scullery O’Tullagh.
