An absolutely fantastic night at Aysgarth Church with Richard Thompson and Zara Phillips. It was a real pleasure to be able to promote and introduce them in my local community, and for them to enjoy themselves so much. Huge thanks to Tris Bryant for making it possible and to all the team that helped on the night. Special mention for Vicar Tom Ringland and his wife Bev, with Laura and Joan on the raffle, Ian, Colin & John on the bar, and to top tech crew, Richard Hart with Tom doing a spectacular job on the lighting, and Neil supporting. Terri worked tirelessly on the door and kept me sane. After expenses. we raised nearly £7,500 for Amnesty International and St. Andrews Church. Thank you everyone who came along and supported the concert. You were a great audience.

RICHARD THOMPSON TICKETS - UPDATE
With a week to go before the general release of tickets, this is the last chance for those of you who were friends of this page at the time of the first ticket announcement, to take advantage of the early bird discount. If you've already reserved and paid, you should have received an acknowledgement by email. Thank you very much. If you've asked for tickets to be reserved but not yet paid, can you please pay before 12th April, so that I know how many tickets to release into general sales. If you want to pay by cash, you'll need to contact me and make arrangements. Thank you for all your support so far. Once I've got all the timings from Richard's agent, I'll be in touch with all ticket holders with further details.

Apologies for not posting for a while. 2025 ran away from us somewhat, and opportunities to put in a second concert became very limited. A couple of minor health issues and a busy schedule at festivals at home and abroad got in the way, and bookings took something of a back seat. We won’t have time for a Spring concert this year, BUT WE HAVE A VERY EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT COMING UP IN MARCH for a special concert in September, as well as a concert for November 2026 with a band called Banter. I'll send out more details later, but in the meantime you might want to check out Banter’s website at https://www.banter.band
