CMS today said our final farewell to this wonderful man, Robert Seaton. We were all extremely sad to learn of Robert’s passing just shy of a couple of weeks ago. Robert was an important member and long standing supporter of our society.

We’re sure many of you will join with us in remembering the big personality that Robert was. Many of you will recognise him for his warm (and at times, cheeky 😉) greeting as you arrived at one of our shows. Robert did more work behind the scenes than many of us could imagine.

Sending our continued love and thoughts to his wife, Sheena, who too, is a big part of our society. He will be greatly missed 🤍

We look forward to seeing our juniors from 2–4pm for our audition workshop, where you’ll have the chance to learn, perform, and have fun in a relaxed environment. Then, from 4–5pm, anyone interested can stay on to work through the principal audition pieces.

What a year it’s been for CMS — from unforgettable performances and standing ovations to the laughter, friendships, and memories made both on and off stage. This past year has reminded us just how special theatre is; bringing people together, sparking creativity, and creating moments that stay with us long after the curtain falls.
