Established in 1977, The Alysia Gilda School of Dance prides itself on a happy atmosphere, where the emphasis is on enjoyment and friendship. At the same time it promotes the more serious aspect of dance, where discipline, co-operation and teamwork are equally important. Dancing helps to co-ordinate body and mind, something very important to a growing child. Participation in classes, performances

and examination work can be a great confidence builder and is excellent for promoting self discipline. Miss Gilda is a Fellow of the IDTA

Our Summer Social was so much fun and the atmosphere was wonderful.
Everyone was up to the challenge, learning new dances caused a great deal of laughter. Jackie admitted she hadn’t laughed so much for a long time. Brilliant my job was done!
Julia and Catherine raised £104 .10 from their raffle. The prizes were top notch. Thank you.
Pippa, the 6 month trainee puppy showed her personality is perfect for the work ahead of her. Mel is her puppy trainer, thank you for all your hard work.
Cody, our guide dog from previous dances has now moved on to her next stage of training and we wish her the best of luck.
In total £277.10 raised will go to Guide Dogs UK.
We are proud to support the charity.
Friday November 13th is the Autumn dance pop the date in your diary.

Monday’s class was fun.
With my Social Dance on Friday I enlisted my ladies to run through a new pattern of steps.
The dance will be forever known as “Carol’s pas de basque”.
Learnt and performed with lots of laughter in 10 minutes.

Looking forward to seeing Guide Dog UK supporters on Friday 19th June at 7.30pm.

Successfully passing their tap dancing exams with Honours.
I hear they all are amazing, handsome young men.
Some with families, or living abroad.
Teachers, mechanics, doctors! Actors etc.
I’m proud I was apart of their lives and hope they know how my opportunity to teach them was an Honour. Xx

Fabulous evening with Tap, Ballet, Outdoor Stars, Keep fit ladies.
Morecambe Golf Club has hosted our gatherings for over 25years!
Thank you for such personal professional service.
We did spend a while discussing the adverts for dance/ exercise sessions.
Dance fit - Ballet fit - Tap tone - Outdoor fit!
We concluded Friendship, Fun and Feeling Fabulous suited our classes.
Looking forward to our dancing this term.

Whatever your plans are for the weekend have a super time.
Just a reminder the beginners ballet class will run for 4 weeks starting June 3rd. St Mary’s Catholic Hall in the village.
Gain confidence and enjoy an easy to follow introduction to ballet exercises in a friendly atmosphere.
Classical traditional music soothing our minds.
