Children of all ages and from all areas are welcome to join us on Sat 6th June! 👩‍🎨🖼🖌🎨

An amazing FREE event happening in The Oakland Community Centre, Glaslough on Saturday 6th June, as part of the nationwide Cruinniú na nÓg day.
Two artists Trish Redmond Art and Lynsey Mc Kernan Art will be running the event 'A Community Canvas', where young people from 0-17 are invited to come along and make their mark on the canvas. There will be large canvases which will be made into wall hangings that will be on display in the Oaklands Community Centre following the event.

All materials are provided, young people are asked to contribute their artistic talents on the day to create a montage of community artworks.
Anything from a baby making a handprint, to a teen drawing a detailed portrait, anything and everything can be added to the canvas.

It is a drop in event, children must be accompanied by an adult. We are open from 11am - 3pm and children can spend as little or as long time as they want on the canvas.

We are looking forward to a fun day creating! Spread the word and we'll see you then!
