Cowboy Builder

Cowboy Builder may have been secretly trading for longer under misleading handles and fake names. Mutated 2020's misremembering of folk w/ dub damage. Elements of noise and improvisation. Beats with half the hits missing. .builder

Ute Wassermann & Joke Lanz + Celyn of Gwent

Joke Lanz & Ute Wassermann

Joke Lanz (turntable) and Ute Wassermann (voice + objects) have been performing as a duo at international festivals since 2016. Their performance takes the audience on a rollercoaster of vocal, physical and electronic actions. A tour de force of technoid rhythms, cartoonish scraps of speech, twisted melodic fragments, stop-and-go grooves and loops. Their legendary concert at the Konfrontationen festival in Nickelsdorf (2019) was recorded by ORF and released on the Klanggalerie label in 2021. The CD Half Dead Half Alive was longlisted for the 2021 German Record Critics' Award.

Celyn of Gwent

Celyn of Gwent is an artist creating at the intersection between popular music and the sonic avant-garde, integrating influences from electronica and the traditional music of the British Isles. Amongst their songs, they weave spoken word poetry and field recording. A q***r bard for the anthropocene age.

Celyn of Gwent’s debut album ‘Dying & Rising’ is due for release Autumn 2025 - Supported by Help Musicians Next Level Fund.

Celyn music and sound design has been presented with organisations including The Royal Ballet, Wales Millenium Centre, The National Theatre of Great Britain, S4C (Hansh), Roundhouse, Stereo (Glasgow), Duckie, Pleasance, SPILL, Corsica Studios, Iklectik, The Yard, The Cube (Bristol), Dalston Superstore, and Rough Trade.
