The Brickyard is Carlisle's longest running independent live music venue, ideally situated in the North West of the UK between Newcastle and Glasgow. Previous acts include Arctic Monkeys, Foals, The 1975, Kasabian, Slaves (Soft Play), Pigsx7, Dr John Cooper Clarke, The Fall, Maximo Park, The Exploited and Kate Nash to name but a few. Our Q***r club night LOVELESS will return to the Brickyard for a Rock V Rave 👽⚡️Fresher’s week special to welcome our new Q***r beings + allies 🛸 PLUS reuniting with our loyal supporters.

This time our mix of DJs will be stretching the boundaries of alternative genres – playing freakishly good music that’s irresistible to all sentient creatures!

Come dressed like you’ve crash-landed from another planet, a rockstar from the future, cosmic creature — or whatever you want to be! (fancy dress is optional).

Tickets for the Brickyard club night will also give you FREE entry to the pre-party at Tullie Museum (6-8pm) where you can pre-drink, do your nails or have your face artistically painted by for the occasion.

The Fillers are the world’s first and best tribute to The Killers. Formed in late 2006 in the small town of Fabulous Bury St. Edmunds, where The Killers had their initial success. Having interacted with the Killers themselves at close quarters, The Fillers have captured an unrivalled sound, look and feel of the Vegas quartet, performing tracks from Hot Fuss, Sam's Town, Sawdust, Day & Age, Battle Born, Wonderful Wonderful, Imploding The Mirage and Pressure Machine!

Having been lauded by The Killers themselves, The Fillers have an unrivalled attention to detail. From ALL of the various fully functioning keyboard stands used by Brandon Flowers to the same instruments including vintage Fender Starcasters, custom built Hiwatt amps, Craviotto Drums and Nord Keyboards with all The Killers trademark patches, the band has THE authentic Killers look and sound!

The Fillers are the ONLY tribute to The Killers officially recognised by the original band, and have even played on stage with The Killers themselves!

The 14th annual Rockmantic Weekender continues to champion grassroots bands along with established acts going strong. Friday has a strong Southern/Classic Rock Vibe with Tom Kilner headlining. Fan favouries The Soul Revival, Beggars Bliss & Katie and the Bad Sign bolster the line up, while the opening band Chase Icarus (featuring Andy Moore) make their debut appearance.

Saturday headliners This House We Built are one of the hardest working UK bands & know a thing or two about writing a hit rock song. Fireheart make their debut Carlisle appearance, and without doubt will also be a main attraction. Victory or Die, Ace of Kings, Lixx, The Black Vultures & Damaged Goods complete a fantastic line up.
