I can finally say it—the new Lyris for Women website is LIVE! 🎉

I am absolutely thrilled to introduce it to you and invite you to explore everything that Lyris has to offer.

You can now go straight to the website to discover three ways in which Lyris can help transform not only how you sing, but how you feel about your voice:

For you if you would like to understand your voice, develop healthy vocal technique and grow in confidence through supportive weekly online lessons.

For you if you would like to experience high quality choral singing in Carlisle, with excellent vocal guidance, inspiring repertoire and friendship.

❤️The Classical Singer Mastery Programme

For you if you are working towards a particular musical goal and would like individual coaching to develop your technique, confidence and artistry.

Perhaps you would like to feel more confident in your voice. You may wish to understand your technique, experience the joy of singing with other women or prepare for an examination, audition or performance.

Whichever path you choose, you will benefit from nearly forty years of experience as a professional singer, singing teacher and choral director.

When did you last invest in yourself?

Not the washing machine.
Not the school shoes.
Not something for the house, the children or everyone else.

When did you last spend money on something because it would be good for you?

Something that would give you something to look forward to.

Something that would challenge you.

Something that would help you grow, develop and become more confident.

Maybe it’s been a while.

And perhaps that’s why Lyris might be worth thinking about.

Because yes, you’re joining a choir.

But you’re joining a choir where every voice matters.

Your voice matters.

You won’t disappear into the crowd. You’ll be encouraged to develop your own voice, understand it better and discover what you’re capable of.

And you’ll do that alongside other women who want to sing beautifully, learn, grow and create something extraordinary together.

Your membership gives you two hours of expert-led choir teaching every week, plus online technique lessons and voice sectionals, so you’re continually developing as a singer, not simply learning the next song.

And the music matters.

We work on beautiful, ambitious repertoire.

We care about technique.

We develop musicianship.

And we aim for performances that make you think, “I didn’t know I could sing like that.”

Because I want Lyris to give you more than an enjoyable evening each week.

I want you to leave knowing that you have invested in yourself.

That you are singing better.

That you are becoming more confident.

If that’s what you’re thinking as you listen to the women of Lyris sing, then this is your invitation.

There’s something really special about singing together, adding your own voice to the sound, feeling your own voice and the voices around you and being part of something that you simply can’t create on your own.

That’s what I want Lyris to be: a place where you can enjoy singing, enjoy the feeling of singing and enjoy the sensation of being surrounded by other voices, without feeling inhibited about your own.
