❓THROWBACK TO LAST TUESDAY’S QUIZ NIGHT❓

A fantastic turnout, some questionable answers, some very questionable team names, and competition so fierce we actually needed a tie-breaker to sort out the final positions! 😱

🏆 THE FINAL RESULTS:

🥇 1st – Blood, Sweat & Beers
Clearly all that sweating over the answers finally paid off. 🍺

🥈 2nd – Clever Cats
So close… but unfortunately, clever wasn’t quite clever enough. 🐱

🥉 3rd – Penrith Plonkers
A podium finish despite the name. We’re impressed. 😂👏

Huge congratulations to all our teams — and commiserations to everyone who confidently shouted an answer that was absolutely, categorically, spectacularly wrong. 🤣

🌾👩‍🌾 A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our Nursery Rhyme Themed Scarecrow Competition! 👩‍🌾🌾

We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who entered this year’s competition. We had a fantastic number of wonderful and creative entries, and it was brilliant to see so much imagination and effort go into each and every scarecrow! 👏

The competition was judged by public vote, and we were overwhelmed by the fantastic response and all the positive feedback we received. It certainly wasn’t an easy choice!

🎉 WE HAVE A WINNER! 🎉

A huge congratulations to this year’s Scarecrow Competition winner — this fantastic “Hay Di**le Di**le” display on the Summerfield Estate! 🐄🌙🎻🐱

With this year’s theme being Nursery Rhymes, the public cast their votes, and this brilliant, creative showcase came out on top! 🏆

The winner was announced on Festival Friday, making it a fantastic way to celebrate the creativity and community spirit that went into this year’s competition. 🎉

A massive thank you to everyone who entered and brought their wonderful scarecrows to life. We’ve loved seeing all the imagination, effort and fun across the estate. 👏🌾

The Scarecrow Trail is still waiting to be explored!

Although the competition has officially finished, there’s still time to get out and enjoy the Dalston Village Festival Scarecrow Trail before the scarecrows are taken down!

🗺️ Limited hard-copy maps are now available from the Co-op, so grab one while you can!

🎉 What a night! Festival Friday has gone off with a bang! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported Dalston Festival Week and helped make it so special. ❤️

There are far too many people to thank tonight — from our incredible volunteers to our generous raffle prize donators — but please know your support means the world. More thanks will follow, along with a full round-up of the various events and winners over the coming days. 🙏

To all of our amazing exhibitors tonight, the incredible Nikki, the fantastic dancers from Jordyn Louise Dance, and The Athems — thank you for an absolutely amazing evening! 🌟
