RudeDog resident Gary K is playing a 5 hour open to close set on Halloween at Smileys. Some set that will be. Get supporting our boy and get your tickets purchased.

Just over 2 week to go until one of my most important gigs so far. Celebrating 25 years on the decks. Promoting this all on my own and only myself DJ’in, playing a 5 hour open to close set in which I’ll be selecting a lot of my favourite tunes from various genres. My 20 years event was a belter. I’m hoping this one will be as good if not better. Hope to see some true supporters on the dance floor on the night. It would mean the world to me if you could all make an appearance. The tunes I have in store for it are special. A lot of nostalgia classics and some new stuff thrown in throughout the night for good measure. Anyone needing tickets drop me a message 🙌🏼🎧🎶🥳

Here we go 🤩🤩🤩

To celebrate 25 years on the decks 🤯 I’m playing a 5 hour open to close set full of all the classics and anthems that I love and have played out since my very first dj booking age 15 in 2001. Think of the tunes ever featured on my tapes, cd’s, USB’s and what I’ve played in clubs and events etc plus a lot of forgotten gems. I’ll be digging deep into my collection on the night and providing a sound track to remember. This one is gonna be special. I hope you can all join me for what is a special occasion for myself ❤️

Setting the tempo I’ll be starting off with House and Retro to Oldskool then to Italian blending into Trance and then stepping it up a gear moving on to Bouncy / Pumpin House and finish off last half hour with some Makina and Happy Hardcore Classics. Plus some upfront choons thrown in throughout the night for good measure 🎶

Now the dust has settled, we just want to say a big thank you to everyone that made it possible for our 10th birthday party. The DJs, Andy Pendle, John G, Joe Taylor, Gary K and Martin Crickett, YOU the ravers / our loyal and new supporters, Smiley’s for hosting the event, our brilliant door lady, Tot. All of you were incredible. What a night it was. Big love to you all 👏🏼👌🏼

10 years we’ve been at it. It’s been some journey, but without the ravers, we wouldn’t be still throwing parties this long. We are totally unsure when the next event will be. It’s basically down to how much you lot want it. For now, we take a well earned break. Our resident, Gary K has something in the pipeline so please keep an eye on his page and show him the support he well and truly deserves.

Again, thanks you all so much.

*** A personal appreciation shout from Gary K to Mr RudeDog himself, Jim Doc AKA Stingray (If you know you know). Without him, these nights would never have been possible. From what was just meant to be a one off night 10 years ago, to help promote myself and for a Trance Classics night for us all cos Carlisle had none, to going on to book the likes of Dave Pearce (twice), Matt Darey, Yomanda, Anne Savage, Darren Porter, Luvstruck, Andy Pendle (3 times), Joe Taylor (twice), John G, the Cream Classics brand and Wigan Pier DJs. I can’t thank him enough. In my opinion, there’s no better party than a RudeDog party. No gimmicks, No nonsense, Music is the drug 👏🏼💙
