Wigton's Fountain Gallery A cooperative of local artists and craftspeople We have a wide choice of unique cards some showing images of our work.

We are a group of artists, painters, photographers, ceramists, jewellers, plus a variety of other crafts which come and go depending on demand and the whims of our members. We each take a turn to steward the gallery so that at any time the customer is able to speak to someone who makes the goods on sale.

Established in 1836 by John Banks, the much-loved Cockermouth hardware shop has been a familiar part of the town for an incredible 190 years.

From its beginnings as a traditional hardware store to the business it is today, J.B. Banks & Son has witnessed generations of local history, changes to the town and countless customers walking through its doors.
