A well done to everyone who came along to my Field to Vase and tile workshop! 🌿

Your beautiful pieces have now been fired, and I thought I’d share a little peek at how they’ve turned out. 🌸

It was so lovely seeing everyone’s different ideas and combinations of flowers come together, and I hope you’re as pleased with your finished pieces as I am. ❤️

If you still have a piece waiting to be collected, please do get in touch with me. I’ve sent emails out to let everyone know they’re ready, but they may have found their way into your junk/spam folder!

Just drop me a message if you haven’t collected yours yet and we can arrange a time. 😊

Thank you again for coming and making with me — I really loved seeing what you all created.

Lost for words… 🥰

Feeling so grateful.

Being able to share my love for making with others, in such a beautiful place at Briggle Farm yesterday, was just the best feeling.

We had fizz, sunshine and such lovely people who got stuck right in and embraced the whole experience. ❤️

Thank you so much Briggle Farm, and thank you to everyone who came along and made the day so special.

I really hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. 🥰

There’s something about the making process that has kept me making for over 20 years, and I still can’t quite put my finger on it.

At a workshop a few weeks ago, someone asked how I got into ceramics. My answer was simple: “You know when you’re a child and you just love making stuff? Well… I never stopped.”

And that’s really it. I’ve always loved creating, and somewhere along the way clay completely hooked me. Even after all these years, I still get excited by the process of making something from nothing.

Yesterday’s Basic Throwing Course at Florence Arts Centre was the third of four sessions.

Everyone enjoyed building on the skills they developed during weeks one and two while exploring and creating a range of different shapes.

Here you can see some of the fantastic work produced during the session.

Another lovely day at Florence Arts Centre 🌿

This morning, our 4-week throwing course focused on turning the pots created over the first two weeks, as well as adding handles — great to see everyone’s pieces really taking shape.

After lunch, Kids Club got hands-on with building height in clay, using both throwing and coil techniques. A special shoutout to Joshua, who built an impressive 30cm coil pot in just one hour 👏

See you again next Saturday for the final session 😊

hello again 👋

i didn’t disappear for any big reason… just didn’t have much to say for a while, and that felt okay.

sometimes the quiet is the point.

my hands have still been making though — so thank you to everyone who’s been keeping me busy with your orders, and thank you for your patience. handmade means it’s a little slower, but it’s always made with care.

anyway, i’m back — no big announcement, no grand return. just here again.
