Join us for some URBAN SKETCHING THIS *Sunday 23 August, 1-3pm*

Illustrator and Tullie young producer will lead the group around Carlisle’s Historic Quarter to look at ways of recording what you see and translating it on to paper… it will also just be fun!

Photographers also welcome.

Any artwork made can be donated to feature in an up and coming exhibition in Tullie’s brand new gallery!

Materials and clip boards provided or bring your own.

Meet at the big T in the Tullie gardens, CA3 8TP 🌿✏️

No booking required, just turn up.

📣 🧌 Calling all teenagers!! Come and escape the boredom at the Escape2Make (E2M) festival at Tullie NEXT FRIDAY 14 AUGUST, 10-4pm.

So many summer holiday activities are designed for young children, so the E2M team have designed this day for young people aged 11-18 to enjoy some niche, traditional arts and crafts techniques.

Oh yeah… and it’s totally FREE! What’s not to love?

It’s fun working at the museum!

This Wednesday 29th July 6-8pm at Tullie ~ we’re inviting people to come and meet the Tullie team + find out more about 2 new PAID traineeships with the Exhibitions team and Community engagement team.

Drop-in any time between 6 and 8pm.

While you’re there you can also get support with your CV and tips for your application if needed.

If you’d love to work in a 🤡 fun environment, surrounded by fascinating things and lovely people - where no two days are the same ~ one of these opportunities might be for you!

Hi,
I’m Lins ~ the Community engagement producer at Tullie (1 of 2).
I’m working with a BRILLIANT group of young producers who currently meet to plan exciting projects, initiatives, events etc at Tullie.. and we’re almost fully subscribed.

If anyone out there is still interested in joining, or maybe we’ve tried to meet up and it hasn’t happened, or … LIFE > please do get in touch before *July 30th* to find out more / sign up to be a member of the group before we close the opportunity for a few months.

We’re looking for anyone aged between 16 and 29 who’s interested in how museums can be cool places to socialise, how they can educate and to also advise on what opportunities we should be offering.

It’s also a great space to make friends and spend time.
