Not long to go until our Community Fun Day at Lockerbie Old School and we can’t wait to welcome you through the doors! 💛

Join us this Saturday 5th September, 10am–2pm for a brilliant day for the whole community, with something for all ages.

From face painting, 3 Glow Bears Sensory and Magical Messy Moments to axe throwing, marshmallow toasting, theatre & circus, Highland Dancing, LEGO & crafts, mindful art therapy and so much more! 🎨🧸🔥🎪

We’ll also have community stalls, massage & beauty therapy, our tuck shop, tea, coffee & cakes, tombola, raffle and competitions throughout the day.

🌈🌈 Carboot Set up today.. actually quite like it... 🤣🥺 never even had chance to post this first thing 😅
🌈🌈 Fantastic turnout for the Bank Holiday, another brilliant Silloth Carnival well done everyone!!
And again thank you Cody, Hannah Carlisle Castles Julie Berry for keeping me fed and hydrated 🥰

🌈🌈 Something else happened today. A lady from the states was visiting, she asked whether she could take a few photos of my set up. I said go ahead... after she was done she said these are for my daughter, shes just starting out after teaching for 15 years. Hmm.. I never really thought much about it at the time as having painted for 5 straight hours your minds not really thinking. But now ive just remembered about the encounter and thought.. nice. Someone else is drawing some kind of inspiration from this.
This was my set up today due to me avoiding the forecast which was extremely windy. But in fact it wasn't 😅 it was very pleasant in fact. I hate the noise made with wind shaking the gazebo. And id rather have a smaller set up for that reason.. safety too!
Ive seen at least 3 tents blow over this year alone.
