For the last day of Amigurumay I wanted to share this bear, which may just be a normal bear to everyone else, but I made it with yarn my Auntie Helen gave me. It’s projects like this where I use yarn from family or connect family to it in some way that mean the most. I makes me regret not asking my gran to teach me how to knit years ago, or not really taking an interest until it was too late. To some it might just be getting yarn that isn’t used but I treasure my yarn and find it hard to part with so it’s also the fact she picked out some I was looking for and gave it to me that meant a lot. I had other projects going on at the time but quickly made this to give to her before I left. Also if I could find more of this yarn I’d buy it all, it was old James C Brett and I don’t even think it had a colour name, just numbers lol. Anyway, ask your friends and family who craft if they can teach you or if they want to craft together! Build your little communities! Happy crafting ✌🏻💖🧶
