🇪🇺 The Greek School of Wales was honoured to be invited to attend the European Parliament's 2026 Europe Day celebrations at Westminster and Europe House in London!

**A proud moment for our students, school and community, showcasing Greek education in Wales on a national and European stage!**

Our students joined Young Ambassadors from across the United Kingdom for a day of discussions, workshops and collaboration, exploring the work of the European Parliament.

🏛️ A highlight was meeting Marsha de Cordova MP, Co-Chair of the EU–UK Parliamentary Partnership Assembly, who welcomed the students to Westminster and Leena Maria Linnus, Head of the European Parliament Liaison Office in the UK.

Congratulations to our outstanding students for representing the Greek School of Wales with enthusiasm, maturity and pride. 🇪🇺

The Olympic spirit came to life at the Greek School of Wales! End-of-Year Celebration 2026: ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΙ ΑΓΩΝΕΣ | Olympics

The Olympic Games were chosen as this year's educational theme as they are both one of Greece's greatest contributions to world civilisation and an important part of the GCSE Modern Greek curriculum.

The Greek School of Wales, part of the Hellenic Centre of Wales, is inviting the whole community to the biggest annual school celebration: Our End-of-Year Summer Celebration 2026 | OLYMPICS: Featuring live student performances, graduation and community awards.

🇬🇷 We are honoured to welcome H.E. Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the United Kingdom, Mr Yiannis Tsaousis, on the occasion of his first official visit to Wales.

During his visit, Mr Tsaousis will officially inaugurate our new school sports equipment, generously donated by the Embassy of Greece in London and Navarino, for use at Thornhill Primary School by our students and the wider school community.
