Built around Electric Yellow, Charcoal and Warm White, the new 4Pi Productions palette balances bold contrast with softer, quieter tones. Designed to move seamlessly across all our branding and design as we showcase our immersive, motion and digital projects.

Testing out the new 4Pi colour palette in motion.

Jasmin from our team animated a few playful loops in Procreate using the new brand colours, then of course we made a quick fulldome version just to see how it felt in the space.

Nothing too serious, just a fun little experiment exploring the new visual direction.

The Rift had simultaneous weekend premieres in Canada and France, screening at SAT Fest and the Sous Dôme festival.

The film is the result of a Zimbabwe–UK collaboration developed through the XR Labs initiative, in partnership with Matamba Film Labs and AfriKera Arts Trust

#2016 Among many immersive projects, the 4Pi team launched CULTVR in 2016 as a digital platform connecting audiences with contemporary arts and culture from across Wales, using immersive technologies such as 3D scanning and 360° filming.

It wasn’t until the end of 2019 that CULTVR evolved into the physical immersive venue we know today. Looking back at that moment reminds us how long 4Pi has been experimenting with immersive media, and how proud we are to see CULTVR grow into a thriving space that welcomes visitors from Wales and beyond, year after year.

As the year wraps up and after the premiere of The Rift at IDFA Doc Lab, we thought it was the perfect moment to show you a bit of what goes on behind the cameras and computers at 4Pi.

We’re proud to announce that our latest fulldome film, The Rift, will have its official premiere at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam IDFA this Saturday.

This marks our fifth fulldome dance production, celebrating live capture, innovation and cross-cultural collaboration between Welsh and Zimbabwean artists.
