We were so proud to bring a piece of Hedd Wyn: Eisteddfod Atomig to New York this week, our Associate Artist Owain Rowlands did an excellent job performing an excerpt as part of the US-Wales Cultural Partnerships Reception at the British Consulate General in Manhattan.

It was an extraordinarily beautiful evening celebrating the fantastic Welsh artists and organisations sharing their work around the world. We were so proud to be there alongside them.

With a speech from Heledd Fychan celebrating the importance of Welsh culture and international collaboration, the evening was a wonderful reminder of how the arts can build bridges between people, places and communities.

As always - we're proud to be part of that conversation, and to bring Welsh art to audiences across the world.

Roedden ni mor falch o ddod â darn o Hedd Wyn: Eisteddfod Atomig i Efrog Newydd yr wythnos hon, gan berfformio dyfyniad o’r gwaith fel rhan o Dderbyniad Partneriaethau Diwylliannol yr Unol Daleithiau a Chymru yn y British Consulate General ym Manhattan.

Roedd yn noson hynod o brydferth, yn dathlu’r artistiaid a’r sefydliadau Cymreig gwych sy’n rhannu eu gwaith ledled y byd. Roedden ni’n falch iawn o fod yno ochr yn ochr â nhw.

Yn ei haraith, bu Heledd Fychan yn dathlu pwysigrwydd diwylliant Cymru a chydweithio rhyngwladol – ein hatgoffa pa mor bwysig yw’r celfyddydau wrth greu pontydd rhwng pobl, lleoedd a chymunedau.

Fel bob amser, rydyn ni’n falch o fod yn rhan o’r sgwrs honno, ac o ddod â chelf Cymru i gynulleidfaoedd ledled y byd.

“It's a lot of work a lot more work than I thought it was.”

Last year, Clémentine Schneidermann and Charlotte James came together to create a series of artworks for our latest Season.

The models? 63 members of our own team, from Development, Wigs & Make-up, Marketing and Stage Management to our Chorus and Orchestra and, of course, our volunteer archivist, John.

Y llynedd, daeth Clémentine Schneidermann a Charlotte James ynghyd i greu cyfres o weithiau celf ar gyfer ein Tymor diweddaraf.

Y modelau? 63 aelod o’n tîm ein hunain, o’r timau Datblygu, Wigiau a Cholur, Marchnata a Rheoli Llwyfan, i’n Corws a’n Cerddorfa ac, wrth gwrs, ein harchifydd gwirfoddol, John.
