Cardiff Healthcare Music Society Cardiff Healthcare Music Society is a group of healthcare students, performing as a choir and orchestra. New members are always welcome- we don't audition!

Cardiff University Healthcare Music Society (HMS) was founded in 2009 in the capital of Wales, United Kingdom. We are going strong 8 years later, bringing together students from all different aspects of healthcare and displaying their talents to raise money for charities through musical performances. Last year HMS hosted 2 annual concerts, performed at Cardiff’s Fringe Festival and busked at the U

niversity of Hospital Wales (UHW) at Christmas, raising money for local charities. We have two main ensembles – an orchestra and choir which meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively from 19:00-21:00 in the UHW chapel. The ensembles play and perform a combination of pop, film themes and classical pieces such as Phantom of the Opera, 1812 overture, For Good (from Wicked) and many more! Come and join us for an afternoon of music and good vibes at our annual Spring Concert next Saturday 25th April!

This year we’re supporting two amazing causes - Jessie’s Fund 🎶 and Sepsis Research FEAT ❤️, helping to fund children’s music therapy and vital sepsis research and awareness.
