There is something truly magical about watching creativity come alive in just a few hours. New masterpieces are born, new friendships begin, and paintbrushes and palettes mix with laughter, conversations, and a lovely drink in hand. 🍷🖌️

An old pub becomes a place where people connect, relax, and discover their own creativity. Because art is not only about the final painting — it’s about the moments, emotions, and memories we create along the way. 💫

Our final summer Painting workshop of the season is just one month away! 🌴☀️

Join us on Sunday, the 23rd of August, at 2:00 pm at The Cardiff Townhouse for a tropical-themed afternoon of painting, cocktails and great company.

Let’s celebrate the final weeks of summer together, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and create lasting memories.

No experience is needed. Under the guidance of a professional artist, you’ll be shown every step of the process to create your own beautiful, realistic tropical painting.

£30 per person. All materials are included.

Please book your place as early as possible, as spaces are limited.

What a lovely day spent in such a beautiful place! 🌿🎨

The perfect escape from the summer heat at The Cardiff Townhouse, surrounded by creativity, great company and plenty of smiles.

Today we painted a beautiful meadow full of wildflowers, and every single painting turned out unique.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the afternoon so special. I hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as I did.

I’m delighted to invite you to a special Sip & Paint evening at the beautiful King’s Arms at Pentyrch.

The King’s Arms has become a special place for artists. My students and I often meet here to talk about art over a drink. This beautiful historic pub dates back to the 17th century and still retains some of its original features, making it one of the cosiest places to spend a creative evening.

During the workshop we’ll paint this colourful wildflower meadow step by step. No previous experience is needed — I’ll guide you through the whole process, and you’ll leave with a painting you’ll be proud to take home.

⏳ Duration: 2.5 hours
💷 £30 per person
🎨 All painting materials are included.
🍷 Food and drinks are available to purchase from the pub throughout the evening.

Finally, I can share the date of our next painting workshop — many of you have been asking, and I know quite a few have been waiting for it.

On 12 July, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, we’ll be meeting in a wonderful new location right in the very centre of Cardiff — The Cardiff Townhouse.

As part of our ongoing tradition of exploring some of Cardiff’s most beautiful venues together as an art community, this time we’ll be painting a vibrant summer meadow filled with wildflowers 🌸

The workshop is suitable for all levels, including complete beginners. I’ll guide you through the painting step by step, and all materials will be provided.

Price: £30 per person

This summer marks a special milestone: our art masterclasses turn 6 years old.

Over these years, hundreds of paintings have been created, countless conversations have been shared over cups of tea and coffee, and many people have discovered that they can paint far better than they ever imagined.

And yet, our masterclasses still don’t have a name.

It’s time to change that.

✨ I am announcing a contest for the best name for our art events!

If your idea becomes the official name of our masterclasses, you will receive a certificate for a free visit to any masterclass of your choice.

How to participate:
🎨 Write your name suggestion in the comments or send it in a private message.
🎨 You can submit as many ideas as you like.
🎨 The winning name will be announced on Monday, 29 June.

Perhaps the name that will accompany our creative journey for years to come is already in your mind.
