IRON CROSS/NO EASY GROUND
We published the Iron Cross set of WWII rules in 2015 with collaborators Darryl Morton and Mark Mainwaring. The game went through three print runs and we have considered a second edition for a few years since then as the game gained a loyal following.
So when Darryl set up a new company, Second Escape Games - https://secondescape.games/ -, to acquire the Iron Cross project, that second edition was a go. We changed the name of the game to No Easy Ground for accessibility, and Darryl has stewarded a full review, re-write and publication of a new edition. It is set for release in September.
Iron Cross is still available at www.greatescapegames.co.uk and, if you purchase the pdf or physical book, you will receive a £5 voucher toward the new No Easy Ground edition.
If you have purchased Iron Cross from Great Escape Games, please wait until the pre-order announcement is made and email us with your order number. We will send you the £5 discount code. If you bought it at a show or convention in 2026, just email us your details. If you bought it from a store, ask them to order No Easy Ground and we will get you a voucher code to buy it from your favourite retailer, or direct from us.

Darryl and the team have done an outstanding job at rewriting and creating the new book.
