Join Us for Canton Chorus Summer School! 🎶

There's just over a week to go until our Summer School begins, and we'd love you to join us

Open to everyone – you don't need to be a member of Canton Chorus. Whether you're an experienced singer or simply fancy giving choral singing a try, you'll be very welcome.

📅 Wednesdays: 15th, 22nd and 29th July, and 5th August
🕢 7.15pm to 9.00pm
📍 Canton Uniting Church, Cardiff
💷 £25 for the course

We'll be singing music by Victor C. Johnson, Morfydd Owen and Ralph Vaughan Williams, as well as getting an early look at Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle. The Summer School finishes with an informal free concert on Wednesday 5th August at 7.30pm.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Summer Concert last night. It was a lovely evening of music from around the world, and we were delighted to perform to such a warm and appreciative audience.

A huge thank you to the Cardiff Concert Orchestra, our Director of Music Benjamin Teague, accompanist Emily Gait-Scaglioni and wonderful soloists Meinir Davies and Simon Pratt for helping make the evening so memorable.

If you'd like to sing with us, why not join our Summer School? Running on Wednesday evenings from 15th July to 5th August, it's open to everyone and is a great way to experience Canton Chorus. We'd love to welcome you!

Join us for an evening of beautiful choral music from around the world, including Liszt’s Via Crucis, not heard in Cardiff for 10 years, accompanied by the Cardiff Concert Orchestra and conducted by Benjamin Teague.

Tickets are £15 on the door (cash only), including an interval drink.

Join Canton Chorus for a Summer Concert on Saturday 27th June 2026 at 7.30pm at the Church of St Mary of the Angels, Canton, Cardiff.

Celebrating music from around the world, this varied programme takes you from Korea to Wales and from Hungary to Japan in a colourful choral journey. The concert includes music by Taneyev and R. Nathaniel Dett, alongside traditional songs such as Llwyn Onn. We will also be performing Liszt’s Via Crucis, not heard in Cardiff for 10 years.
