Scarborough Promenade

I created this painting about 10 years ago. The medium is acrylic. The painting curves as you follow the promenade with your eyes. It has an unusual perspective. The inspiration came from the business of the promenade and the fun that people seem to be having in the picture.

The Voice Of Nature: Sir David Attenborough

I created this portrait of Sir David Attenborough in graphite, focusing on capturing his character, expression, and the quiet wisdom that comes through in his presence. The piece is A3 size in graphite.

Cut Above The Rest

Ready for His New Home

Meet Cut Above the Rest, a handsome bay who stole my attention from the moment I saw him. His gentle expression and rich colouring inspired me to step outside my comfort zone, push my abilities, and experiment with new pastel techniques

Created on A3 pastel paper using a variety of soft pastel sticks, this portrait was drawn from a free reference photograph. Every layer was built to capture his warmth, character, and the beautiful glow of his coat

Each portrait teaches me something new, and Platted has been a rewarding reminder that growth comes from trying something different.
