Completing the line up, vocalist Adam Rapado steps up to take the band into the next layer of hell. Excursia have mixed influences from a wide variety of genres and are not limited to one sound, as they continue
to push the boundaries of the metal genre. Expect a hyper, intense, and chaotic atmosphere, as Excursia bring you their brand of ‘in your face’ metal. Excursia’s next studio release draws inspiration from the land of the dragons – Wales, and its myths and legends. Excursia was founded in early 2015 by by guitarist Sam Hill. At just 14 years old, showing a strong aptitude for guitar, Sam was busy idolising the late, great Darrell “Dimebag” Abbott of Pantera. With previous members, Sam created a sound that was reminiscent of the 80s era of heavy metal, but with their own style. With all the previous members gone, Sam was left to continue to establish the band’s sound, and identity. However, soon he was able to recruit Scott Price on bass, followed by Dylan Jarvis on drums, both joining in 2022. Together they have formed a strong back bone, fine tuning and developing the new sound, as Excursia moves away from its originally 90’s inspired groove metal. This year a new vocalist Adam Rapado has been unveiled, and the band has never been stronger.
