CWÎR: Creative Community is a q***r-led, safe, and welcoming space in Cardiff designed for LGBTQIA+ creatives to connect, share, and collaborate. HEAR YE! 🎲 We’re back for another cozy gaming social! ⚔️🌈

Q***r Questing is a chill and welcoming social event for q***r folks who love Dungeons & Dragons and tabletop games.

📍Peilot Space, Chapter Arts Centre

We’ll be running some d&d/ttrpg one shots at two different levels and a ‘How to DM’ table! Open to those with no experience of D&D. Please select your table in the ticketing menu.

Come by if you’re looking to play, form new tabletop groups, share stories, or just hang out with like-minded q***r folk.

Chapter Arts Centre is a fully accessible venue with lift access and assisted doors throughout the building.
Refreshments available, and please feel free to bring snacks!

In this collaborative workshop, Sobia will guide participants through turning ideas into clear, screen-worthy concepts ready to pitch for funding and support - exploring story generation and shaping ideas into practical concepts and pitching them.

Sobia Bushra is an indie filmmaker, community cinema organiser and PhD candidate in screenwriting. Her work centres q***r-led, independent storytelling rooted in lived experience and community. Her recent short film was nominated for the Iris Prize for Best British Short Film.

Diolch 🤍 Thank You ✨ 2025 ✨

2025 has been an incredible year and we’ve been reflecting - being active and involved in community is hard but so rewarding. It’s very easy to feel driven to over-productivity, to become over-stressed, or to feel shared pain deeply - as easy as it is to be connected and feel joy. This year, we’ve learned how important it is to facilitate spaces that offer chances to share honest experiences, and to learn and grow, and to embody methods of making that respect our bodies and minds.

This year has been deeply joyous and we feel so blessed 🤍 We’ve been rooting - starting projects with attention to grow a community founded in care and communal wellbeing. Some major highlights being .party.slay and Q***r Questing❤️‍🔥

We also travelled out of Cardiff for the first time putting on drag d&d with !

We raised £1655 for trans+ rights and lives 🏳️‍⚧️⚔️✨

A huge thank you to every single collaboration we’ve had over the past year, whether it’s as a facilitator, volunteer, artist, organisation or business! Especially big thanks to ***remporium for giving us space throughout the year to try out something new 🤍

We’re super excited to announce some new/continuation of projects for 2026 soon! Though as always, we’d like to be honest that change is natural - whether that looks like less or more of what we do. We can’t always promise high productivity but we can promise we’ll try our best for our community. 💚✨
