PART TWO
SACRED SPACES - SACRED CONNECTIONS
ποΈ As I stepped inside the temple everything felt different.
The stillness there, wasn't empty, it was alive.
Every sound softened, footsteps, whispers, the quiet rustle of clothing.
The weight I had carried earlier had lifted replaced by calm, and I'm able to be present.
π₯Ώ Later that day, I thought again about that moment of taking off my shoes.
I'd done the same before entering a mosque and a home of a friend.
Why do we take off our shoes?
Perhaps it's more than an act of respect?
I recalled that Moses was told :"Remove your shoes, for the ground where you stand is holy".
π I considered, what if, every holy space is also an invitation?
An invitation to connect, to carry something back into the world. What would that be?
β¨ Have you ever had a moment that felt like standing on holy ground?
