Our house band will play the 1st set with jazz musicians from the audience welcome to join the band for the second set for the jam.

Shoutout to The Craig Crofton Quartet. Wow, last night’s special centenary performance was a powerful and deeply personal tribute celebrating the life, music, and enduring legacy of one of the most influential artists of the twentieth century - John Coltrane.

This outstanding international lineup featured:

Thank you to everyone who bought tickets for this sell-out event. I’m sure you’ll all agree, this was a special evening, one we feel privileged to be able to host in our humble little Jazz & Blues bar in the heart of Whitchurch village.

Next up, on Thursday 17 Sept we have The Dan Messore Quartet featuring Iain Ballamy. From refined takes on jazz traditions to expansive cinematic themes, the music provides a sophisticated backdrop of world-class jazz.

Join award-winning pianist and composer Terence Collie at Palladinos Jazz & Blues Bar for an evening of contemporary jazz, blues and deeply atmospheric original music.

Born in Croydon and raised in Cambridgeshire, Terence has developed a distinctive voice on the UK jazz scene, combining lyrical piano playing with emotionally rich compositions and cinematic storytelling.

His latest project, DNA, explores ancestry, migration, identity and belonging, drawing on his own family heritage.

Following support from MOBO Help Musicians Amplified, Terence continues to build an ambitious body of work that has received support from Jazz FM, BBC Radio 3 and international jazz media.

Daniela Soledade is widely regarded as one of the brightest voices in contemporary Brazilian music. Hailed by DownBeat Magazine as a “master of classic samba and bossa nova”, she carries a direct connection to the genre’s roots. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, her family played a significant role in the development of Bossa Nova, with her grandfather collaborating alongside legendary composers including Antônio Carlos Jobim and Vinicius de Moraes.

Alongside her, acclaimed guitarist Nate Najar—described by JazzTimes as a “masterful guitarist”—brings breathtaking musicianship and a deep love of Brazilian jazz.
