When 5-year-old Cross was asked to choose a theme for his birthday party, he didn’t pick superheroes or his favorite cartoon. After finishing his bedtime Bible reading and prayers, he ran out of his room with an idea: “I want a Jesus theme.”
Cross even helped plan the celebration, making sure Jesus stayed at the center. Guests received Kids Bibles, Jesus bracelets and other faith-filled gifts, while a rainbow was included as a reminder of God’s promise.
One of the most touching moments came when Cross personally gave the adults “salvation bracelets,” with different colored beads representing the message of salvation. His mother, Jaclyn Flagg, said watching the little boy share his faith brought “some grown men to tears,” and several guests continued wearing their bracelets afterward.
“He’s unashamed and loves learning about Jesus,” Flagg said. “A Jesus-themed party just made sense.”
