Our first big event of the year sees us back at Newport Pagnell for their lovely 1940s day.

Our 1944 M10 Achilles, replica Flying Flea (Pou Maquis) and a Jeep came up last night, Royce and Steve staying again at the really welcoming Swan Revived hotel.

We drove up early this morning bringing our 1939 Austin 10. We’ve also brought a selection of WW2 weapons for a ‘show and tell’ - and of course have our Armourer Bob with us. Oh and finally Bear our Labrador is with us 🥰..

Breakfast next then off to set up. Just a few photos for now to follow! Ignore the weather forecast and come and say hello - we’ll be on Bury Common. #1944 #1939

Bear, our Labrador and I are at Wallingford Station today, near Henley for a lovely 1940s event. Tad windy at the moment but it’s still early! Trains are running throughout the day so come on down and say hello! As always I’m in my flying suit (lovely and cosy today!) and ATA cap, so I passed the time on the drive this morning listening to ‘Hurricane Girls’ a book about the ATA. Slightly poignant as I passed the sign for White Waltham, home of the ATA.. 🥰www.backtotheforties.co.uk ❤️
