Another little face, travelling all the way across the pond 🤍🐾

This is gorgeous Alfie, now captured forever in one of my mini memorial portraits. I absolutely loved drawing this beautiful boy and bringing his little face to life on paper.

Alfie’s portrait has now made its way all the way to the States 🇺🇸🥹

There were happy tears with this one. 🤍🐾

Meet beautiful Nellie, the latest memorial portrait I’ve had the absolute privilege of creating in coloured pencil.

Nellie is the third member of this family I’ve had the honour of bringing to life through my artwork, which makes this one feel particularly special. There’s something incredibly meaningful about being trusted to create these portraits, especially when they’re of a much-loved baby who is no longer here.

I really wanted to capture Nellie’s beautiful eyes and that gorgeous personality shining through them.

Memorial pieces hold such a special place in my heart. To be able to immortalise a beloved companion in pencil and give their family something tangible to treasure is an absolute privilege. 🤍

Thank you for trusting me with Nellie, and for inviting me to create another piece for your family. 🐾

Really happy to say that my piece Eyes of the Endangered has now been submitted to this years Sketch for Survival 🤍

This drawing shows an endangered chimpanzee staring directly at the viewer. I created it using just three pencils on a black surface, using negative space to help create a feeling of sadness and connection. I wanted his expression to feel difficult to ignore.

Chimpanzees are listed as endangered on the IUCN Red List, with threats including habitat loss and poaching. Creating wildlife art like this is my way of helping bring attention to species that are slowly disappearing.

Feeling grateful to be part of something that supports both art and conservation 🌍🎨



All proceeds from Sketch for Survival go to their Campaign Fund which supports education and frontline conservation.
