Today it's the turn of Sugarthief the most local (Penkridge) of our acts playing the music stage:

Toured with The Twang, shared a stage with fellow Birmingham bands Ocean Colour Scene & Editors, opened the main stage at YNot Festival; the young four-piece band are riding high after a stellar 2017. Their music documents modern teenage experiences via jangly guitars, pop ridden basslines and hook laiden lyrics.

"Some call us Indie or Indie Pop/Rock - we just create the music and let others create the pigeon holes"

The band who will open proceedings at the festival are Jump the Shark

Jump the Shark are a four piece alternative rock band from Wolverhampton who blend psychedelia with heavy riffs and bittersweet pop melodies. In 2017, their song 'Sooner Said' was selected to be featured on the Brit Awards 2017 compilation album available on all major online platforms.
