📢 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT – HALFWAY HALL CLOSURE 🏠🔨

As many of you will now be aware, Halfway Hall is due to undergo some exciting refurbishment work from 2nd November, meaning we’ll unfortunately have to close our doors temporarily until the new year. ❤️

📧 All those who have bookings during the closure period should have received an email regarding the cancellation of their booking. If you haven’t received anything, please get in touch with us.

We want to say a massive sorry to all our hall users, groups, party bookings and everyone who will be affected by this closure. We completely understand how frustrating and disappointing this will be, especially for those who rely on the hall each week.

Many of our own committee members run groups within the hall too, so we’re feeling the impact ourselves and will also have to temporarily close our own groups during this time. We know just how much these groups mean to everyone, and this certainly hasn’t been an easy decision. 💔

However, we’re trying to look at the positives! ✨ We genuinely cannot wait for you all to see our newly refurbished hall and the fresh, updated space we’ll be able to welcome you back into. We’re so excited for what this means for our community and all the wonderful groups, parties and events that take place here.

Thank you all for your patience, understanding and continued support. Halfway Hall wouldn’t be what it is without every single one of you, and we can’t wait to welcome you back through our doors in the new year! 🥰❤️

🎉 WOW – WHAT A RESPONSE! 🎉

Due to the massive interest in our Friday 10:00am class, we SOLD OUT all spaces in just ONE HOUR! 🙌

So… we’re looking at adding a SECOND Friday class at 10:45am in the Halfway Hall! 🎶💃

And already 5 spaces have gone! 😲

If you’d like to join us for the new 10:45am Friday class, please be quick and get your name down before the remaining spaces disappear!

🏠✨ THE HALFWAY HALL – IMPORTANT UPDATE ✨🏠

Hi everyone! 👋

Firstly, apologies for the radio silence on our end. ❤️ If you’ve passed the hall recently, you’ll have noticed there’s lots of exciting work going on! 🏗️🔨

The scaffolding is up, the roof is being replaced, pipes are being worked on, and all the nitty-gritty jobs are getting done. 🏠🔧 We’ve been a little quiet because, at the moment, there’s not really much else we can do while all this work is taking place.

⚠️ IMPORTANT BOOKING UPDATE ⚠️

Unfortunately, we have had to cancel some lets within the hall due to safety concerns while the works are ongoing. We need to make sure everything is safe and brought up to scratch before allowing people back in.

This may unfortunately mean that some of our planned events this year may not go ahead. 😔
As you may have noticed from the lack of announcements, we haven’t gone ahead with things such as our usual Easter activities or summer fayre. There has been a lot of back and forth regarding when the works would start, stop and be carried out, and we simply don’t want to plan events only to have to cancel them at short notice.

Our priority is keeping everyone safe ❤️ and making sure that when you do come along to the hall, it is safe, suitable and ready to welcome you all.

📢 We will keep everyone updated and let you know when the hall is safe to use, as well as when it needs to remain closed.

👀 BUT… keep your eyes peeled! There are some exciting things coming for the hall once we get through this stage! ✨🏠

📩 If you’re currently waiting on a message from us, please bear with us. We promise we will get back to everyone as soon as we can.

🎉 NEW BOOKINGS: For the time being, we won’t be taking on any new party or event bookings. This is simply because we cannot guarantee the condition or safety of the hall while the works are ongoing, and we don’t want to let anyone down.

💐 Already have a booking? If you have a party or event booked and don’t feel comfortable going ahead because of the scaffolding or current works, we completely understand. ❤️ Please either send us a message or use your booking link to cancel.

If it’s for any other reason, please just drop us a wee message and we’ll be happy to discuss it with you. 💬
