🏠✨ THE HALFWAY HALL – IMPORTANT UPDATE ✨🏠

Hi everyone! 👋

Firstly, apologies for the radio silence on our end. ❤️ If you’ve passed the hall recently, you’ll have noticed there’s lots of exciting work going on! 🏗️🔨

The scaffolding is up, the roof is being replaced, pipes are being worked on, and all the nitty-gritty jobs are getting done. 🏠🔧 We’ve been a little quiet because, at the moment, there’s not really much else we can do while all this work is taking place.

⚠️ IMPORTANT BOOKING UPDATE ⚠️

Unfortunately, we have had to cancel some lets within the hall due to safety concerns while the works are ongoing. We need to make sure everything is safe and brought up to scratch before allowing people back in.

This may unfortunately mean that some of our planned events this year may not go ahead. 😔
As you may have noticed from the lack of announcements, we haven’t gone ahead with things such as our usual Easter activities or summer fayre. There has been a lot of back and forth regarding when the works would start, stop and be carried out, and we simply don’t want to plan events only to have to cancel them at short notice.

Our priority is keeping everyone safe ❤️ and making sure that when you do come along to the hall, it is safe, suitable and ready to welcome you all.

📢 We will keep everyone updated and let you know when the hall is safe to use, as well as when it needs to remain closed.

👀 BUT… keep your eyes peeled! There are some exciting things coming for the hall once we get through this stage! ✨🏠

📩 If you’re currently waiting on a message from us, please bear with us. We promise we will get back to everyone as soon as we can.

🎉 NEW BOOKINGS: For the time being, we won’t be taking on any new party or event bookings. This is simply because we cannot guarantee the condition or safety of the hall while the works are ongoing, and we don’t want to let anyone down.

💐 Already have a booking? If you have a party or event booked and don’t feel comfortable going ahead because of the scaffolding or current works, we completely understand. ❤️ Please either send us a message or use your booking link to cancel.

If it’s for any other reason, please just drop us a wee message and we’ll be happy to discuss it with you. 💬
