🚨PETERHOUSE FILM FESTIVAL NOW ACCEPTING STUDENT SUBMISSIONS 🚨
The Heywood Society are pleased to announce the inaugural Peterhouse Film Festival, taking place between the 14th and 16th of November. This is your chance to have your film shown on the big screen in front of film-loving students, and a panel of industry experts.

We are accepting ANY film - regardless of when they were made - made by students of Cambridge, ARU, or graduates from both of less than three years, to be screened across the weekend. The only requirement is that they be less than 25 minutes in length, and suitable for screening to the general public. The best films will be entered into the Judges’ Prize Shortlist, to be included in our Saturday night finale, with feedback from industry experts, including a London Film School director, and a £200 cash prize.
All submissions are free, so whether your film is selected for the shortlist or not, it is a great opportunity to see your work viewed in front of an audience, as it was intended.

Ticketing information to come and see a glimpse of Cambridge’s exciting student film scene to be announced. Submissions close on Monday the 4th of November. Please apply via the form below:

A young Nigel describes childhood in Wolverhampton, existing between his father's untreated rage and his mother's crap cooking - wrecked meals are often replaced (lovingly) with wedges of black, burnt toast. Nigel develops his culinary passion in the face of teenage calamity. Soon his passions find their attachment to a striking young chef at his pub job, sparking his confidence in his q***r exploration - when all comes to a head after his father’s passing, Nigel abandons the nightmarish Clayford home, as we leave him on the brink of a very different life at the steps of the Savoy.
