Pure Music Live Pure Music Live are Independent live music promoters based in London & Cambridge. Pure Music Live are Cambridge based independent music promoters.

Established in 2004, we have brought some of the best live music to venues such as The Man On The Moon,The Portland Arms, The Soul Tree & The Junction whilst working with the likes of The Rascals, The Paddingtons, The Last Republic, Steph Brown, Perfect Crime, Lonely The Brave, White Sunday & The Fleeting Minds. We are also glad to announce that we have just added Cambridge Corn Exchange to our ve

nue roster.

2011 saw us step into the world of 2-tone and Ska with the appearance of The Beat, Newtown Kings, Intercity CrazyTrain & local Cambridge favourites Big 10 , followed by The Selecter ft Pauline Black & Gaps Hendrickson in the following year. We took some time away whilst working on other projects but we had the privelge of working with "The Original Rude Boy", Neville Staple - formely of The kings of Ska, The Specials ! April 10th 2015 saw folk punk heroes Ferocious Dog grace the stage of The Portland Arms, supported by special guests for what was a crazy night of chaos. The arrival of Covid - 19 has like many other promoters & venues seen us cancel all of our live events till late 2021 but you can be assured that we are working on some mind boggling gigs for 2021/ 2022. Lucky enough to work with Music Venue Trust yesterday as part of Venues week and what a brilliant day it was too!

So many groundbreaking initiatives as part of the fight back to make the Grassroots music industry healthy again.
Partners such as Marshall, SJM Concerts, Rock Box, Ticketmaster, TicketWeb contributed some brilliant ideas! All in all an exciting day was had by all, in total nearly 300 delegates travelled from across the UK, a great effort!!

The music industry in general should be supporting artists such as these guys - Lets see how powerful People power reall...

We cannot start the day without saying a massive Thanks to Sean Flowerdew ( London International Ska Festival ) for what was a brilliant gig at The Camden Assembly yesterday - it was Packed , and well worth the journey.

For those of you who may not be aware, this is a free entry event with good bar staff, great selection of food & beers, loads of vinyl for sale and two of the best DJ’s in London - why not check out the next event ??

Still haven’t got your weekend sorted yet?? In that case may I suggest that you set your Sat nav in the direction of The Camden Assembly to experience the best in rocksteady, Ska, Reggae and a pinch of punk ( try saying that after a beer !! )

The Guys from LISF will be hosting this get together giving you the opportunity to hear some classic tracks, meet new friends and drink a few beers.

DJ’s NANKER P & SEAN FLOWERDEW will be spinning the vinyl as well as announcing more bands for The London International Ska Festival & The Dixie Queen on The River Thames.

Don’t know about you guys but I like to listen to a variety of music and artists when I’m out and about, but one particular band I’d like to see return is Alt Rock outfit Broken Witt Rebels. Now I know that they are not Ska or reggae etc, but what they are is brilliant !!

Prior to lockdown, the band where all set to release an album jam packed with some of the hottest music to be released in the UK in a very long time including the awsome “Guns”.

If you were one of the bands followers, then join Pure Music Live in demanding that they get back together, write new music and of course, tour !

I am writing to you all with the heaviest of hearts following recent events.
As you will know currently we have one event awaiting to be rescheduled and another event due to take place on May 31st. Due to recent personal circumstances which have effected the running of Pure Music Live, all events are now cancelled. Our ticket agents Wegottickets.com have been instructed to issue full ticket refunds as a matter of urgency.

We do not have any plans to run either of these events this year 2025.
It is understood that this may cause some disappointment for which we apologise, but assure you that this was unavoidable.

It is not the end for Pure Music Live, once these issues have been resolved we will be back on the road.
