Pure Music Live Pure Music Live are Independent live music promoters based in London & Cambridge. Pure Music Live are Cambridge based independent music promoters.

Established in 2004, we have brought some of the best live music to venues such as The Man On The Moon,The Portland Arms, The Soul Tree & The Junction whilst working with the likes of The Rascals, The Paddingtons, The Last Republic, Steph Brown, Perfect Crime, Lonely The Brave, White Sunday & The Fleeting Minds. We are also glad to announce that we have just added Cambridge Corn Exchange to our venue roster.

2011 saw us step into the world of 2-tone and Ska with the appearance of The Beat, Newtown Kings, Intercity CrazyTrain & local Cambridge favourites Big 10 , followed by The Selecter ft Pauline Black & Gaps Hendrickson in the following year. We took some time away whilst working on other projects but we had the privelge of working with "The Original Rude Boy", Neville Staple - formely of The kings of Ska, The Specials ! April 10th 2015 saw folk punk heroes Ferocious Dog grace the stage of The Portland Arms, supported by special guests for what was a crazy night of chaos. The arrival of Covid - 19 has like many other promoters & venues seen us cancel all of our live events till late 2021 but you can be assured that we are working on some mind boggling gigs for 2021/ 2022. We also strongly support the local music scene and openly encourage the best local talent. For further info contact us via our page or twitter@puremusiclive

At PML we like to support new, grassroots music and artistes, and as a result of a tip off from a DJ & Broadcaster friend of ours we would like to tell you about a new band on the Cambridge music scene - The Contrives - a young up and coming alt-rock outfit from Cottenham nr Cambridge.

In a similar vein to Dave Grohl & Nirvana, these young lads are already oozing talent and are set for a career filled with success. Recently released Track " Roach" is set to be a smash and we have no doubt that success is coming the bands way - and soon!
