✨Eddington Arts is thrilled to introduce its final artist for its spring event this coming Saturday 25th April - independent designer Louisa Shaw -

Lou Mills designs have been described by her customers as “striking and unique”, “occasionally naive but with a sophisticated edge”. “Her contemporary greetings cards and other paper products are simply lovely!”.

From a background of textiles, specialising in knitwear design and then onto a career in the media working as a Photo Editor, an opportunity then arose for Lou to go back to her roots of designing, and thus Lou Mills cards was begun.

Lou works from a very old Quaker Meeting House in Cambridgeshire, which is believed to be haunted by a few. Lou has yet to witness any of her crockery moving unaided!
Lou only Prints to Order, which means a quick delivery for customers, and is indeed very environmentally successful. All products are made entirely in the UK, and using high quality FSC credited papers.

🌼 Come and say hello to Louisa and all our artists!

🌷Just one week to go before our next Eddington Arts event!. We’ve have so enjoyed showcasing our wonderful artists right here over the last few weeks. Today we are delighted to introduce talented jeweller Teresa Crickmar -

Teresa works with metal as a material of change, shaped through heat, pressure, and time. Using recycled sterling silver, selected gemstones, and 18ct gold vermeil, each piece reflects a quiet belief in transformation.
Her practice is rooted in sensitivity, in which making becomes both a refuge and a language. Her work speaks softly of empathy, growth and acceptance, honouring the resilience that shapes us. Her intention is to capture the journey in jewellery to create something permanent, unique and beautiful.

🌼 Come and say hello to Teresa and all our artists!

🌷Eddington Arts is delighted to welcome back artist Liz Hartley Do scroll across for examples of Liz’s beautiful work.

Liz says “the utter incredibleness of life. It’s why I was a biologist, and now I’m an artist. I want to share the beauty and wonder of nature. I’ve been in awe since I was a little girl poking around in the flowers for insects and lying in the grass, making up stories about the cloud shapes. I was always dreaming and drawing.

Coming back to art more recently I’m still drawn to landscapes, plants and trees. Drawing makes me look, and the more I look the more I see. My prints often feature the distinctive landscape of North Essex, the fenland around Cambridge or more recently the West coast of Scotland. I grew up in the Fens and my prints often have the wide-open skies typical of East Anglia, or the watery reflections of its many d***s and rivers. Trees and their infinite variety of shapes are also an endless fascination. “

🌼 Come and say hello to Lizzi and all our artists!
