We’ve been to 16 venues
Performed in 8 counties
Seen over 1000 audience members
Delivered 2 post show talks
Bought 17 tubs of ice cream
And worked with one stuffed albatross!

The best part of touring new writing is alway's hearing our audiences reactions to this new and unprecidented work!

Often times when touring new writing, audiences will never have seen the play before and in many cases will never even have heard of the writer so they are taking a complete chance - this makes it so much more rewarding when we are welcomed by generous audiences and left with feedback like this.

It's hard to believe that Albatross' opening night was over a month ago now - where does the time go?! We're so grateful to every audience member that came out and bought a ticket to see this poignant play on tour!

Touring Martha Loader's Albatross has been an absolutely wonderful experience and we want to thank all of our cast, creative team, crew, venue support teams and everyone else working hard behind the scenes who made this phenominal show happen.

Albatross started years ago as a fascinating idea from Martha and has evolved into the beautiful, moving story that we were lucky enough to take to 16 venues across the East of England and London this spring.
