Junior Athletics Open Day with Commonwealth athlete Josh Faulds!

Join Commonwealth medallist Josh Faulds at Abbey Leisure Complex on Sunday 19 July. Josh will be on site from 10am for a meet‑and‑greet, then lead two free junior masterclasses teaching children how to improve their movement, speed and hurdle basics.

Sessions: 11am–11.30am and 11.30am–12pm.

Free - book online. Parents/guardians must stay to watch.

What a fantastic evening celebrating our Cambridge athletes through the GLL Sports Foundation!

It was wonderful to catch up with familiar faces and meet some of the newest athletes joining the programme. A huge thank you to Cambridge’s newly appointed Mayor, Cllr Maria Cleminson for joining us and helping make the evening so special.

We are incredibly proud of all our athletes, whose dedication, hard work and commitment across such a diverse range of sports continue to inspire us all.

It was also a pleasure to hear a few words from Louis Rolfe, who has been part of the GLL Sports Foundation family for an amazing 13 years.

Congratulations to all our athletes, and we look forward to supporting your continued success! 👏✨

🌟 GLL Sports Foundation Award Night Recap! 🌟

Last night, we had the honour of hosting the GLL Sports Foundation Award Night at Cherry Hinton Village Leisure Centre! 🎉 It was an evening filled with inspiration, celebration, and community spirit.

We were thrilled to welcome Councillor Mark Ashton as our esteemed guest. His presence added a special touch to the event. 🙌

The highlight of the night was an engaging Q&A session with Louis Rolfe MBE, the Paralympic champion. His insights and stories left everyone motivated and inspired. 🏅

Thank you to everyone who attended and made this night unforgettable.
