Real Families at the is an absolute must see.
A disparate collection of over 120 mixed media artworks born out of the research of and curated by Susan Golombok from the Centre for Family Research it explores, beautifully, carefully, brazenly and sometimes painfully the concept of family and how it has changed.
It’s the first show I’ve seen where the existing collection of paintings mix with curated new works so seamlessly and this, I think, is due to it’s timeless theme.
The kids came away with such interesting questions and thoughts on the show I’d really recommend going!
Massively fangirled when I realised Susan Golombok was sitting behind the kids who were listening to ’s piece and so happy to see ’s work for reals for the first time too. It was the best.
